This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-105 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile supplied with an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm), catalogued under part number QV70105. This material stands up to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.
