Ordered as QV70139, this is an AS568-139 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.175 in (55.25 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.381 in (60.48 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
