Q-147 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

Part number QV70147 is an AS568-147 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.675 in (67.95 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.881 in (73.18 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and chemical processing.
