Q-168 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70168 is an AS568-168 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.237 in (183.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.443 in (189.05 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
