QH70173 is an AS568-173 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.487 in (215.57 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.693 in (220.8 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material holds up against propane and butane, water, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
