QV70177 is an AS568-177 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.487 in (240.97 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.693 in (246.2 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
