The QV70178 is an AS568-178 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.737 in (247.32 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.943 in (252.55 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The material holds up against many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
