Ordered as QV70204, this is an AS568-204 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.359 in (9.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.637 in (16.18 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
