APG stocks the QV70206, an AS568-206 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.484 in (12.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.762 in (19.35 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and oil and gas.
