Q-253 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

Part number QV70253 is an AS568-253 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.359 in (136.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.637 in (143.18 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

Typical settings include oil and gas, chemical processing, and aerospace.
