Q-267 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-267 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 8.234 in (209.14 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.512 in (216.2 mm), catalogued under part number QV70267. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.
