Q-270 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70270 is an AS568-270 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.984 in (228.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.262 in (235.25 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
