Q-274 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70274 is an AS568-274 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.984 in (253.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.262 in (260.65 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
