Q-279 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70279 is an AS568-279 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 12.984 in (329.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.262 in (336.85 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
