Q-280 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70280 is an AS568-280 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
