Part number QH70284 is an AS568-284 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.233 in (463.12 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The compound resists water, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
