Q-284 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70284 is an AS568-284 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.233 in (463.12 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
