Q-309 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

APG stocks the QV70309, an AS568-309 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
