Part number QV70314 is an AS568-314 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.725 in (18.42 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.145 in (29.08 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
