Q-317 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-317 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile measuring an inside diameter of 0.912 in (23.16 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.332 in (33.83 mm), catalogued under part number QV70317. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
