Part number QV70360 is an AS568-360 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.27 in (159.26 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
