Q-372 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70372 is an AS568-372 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.
