Q-381 BUNA 70 Q RING

APG stocks the QH70381, an AS568-381 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.395 in (314.83 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ketones.
