Q-383 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

Part number QV70383 is an AS568-383 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.395 in (365.63 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
