Part number QV70387 is an AS568-387 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.375 in (466.73 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
