Ordered as QV70434, this is an AS568-434 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
