Q-449 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70449 is an AS568-449 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.525 in (267.34 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
