Ordered as QV70451, this is an AS568-451 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.525 in (292.74 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
