Q-455 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70455 is an AS568-455 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.
