Q-471 BUNA 70 Q RING

The QH70471 is an AS568-471 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 21.955 in (557.66 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 22.505 in (571.63 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists water, propane and butane, and many alcohols. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or polar solvents will shorten service life.
