Ordered as QV70473, this is an AS568-473 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 23.94 in (608.08 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 24.49 in (622.05 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
