Q-021 BUNA 70 Q RING

Part number QH70021 is an AS568-021 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists water, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or strong acids will shorten service life.
