A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

This material stands up to propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include construction equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and agricultural equipment.
