APG stocks the QH70142, an AS568-142 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.362 in (59.99 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.568 in (65.23 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
