Q-146 BUNA 70 Q RING

QH70146 is an AS568-146 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists many alcohols, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or ketones are present.
