This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-169 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile supplied with an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm), catalogued under part number QH70169. It seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists water, many alcohols, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load.
