Part number QH70315 is an AS568-315 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.787 in (19.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.207 in (30.66 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or strong acids.
