QH70344 is an AS568-344 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.27 in (108.46 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to propane and butane, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
