Q-453 BUNA 70 Q RING

QH70453 is an AS568-453 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.525 in (318.14 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

It resists hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
