Q-456 BUNA 70 Q RING

The QH70456 is an AS568-456 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.475 in (342.27 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.025 in (356.24 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or polar solvents are present.
