Q-010 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

QV70010 is an AS568-010 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.379 in (9.63 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.

Common environments for this compound include oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
