A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
