Part number QV70044 is an AS568-044 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
