Ordered as QV70124, this is an AS568-124 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.237 in (31.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.443 in (36.65 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature.
