Ordered as QV70209, this is an AS568-209 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
