The QV70225 is an AS568-225 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.859 in (47.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.137 in (54.28 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
