Q-329 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70329 is an AS568-329 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.395 in (60.83 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
