QV70344 is an AS568-344 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.27 in (108.46 mm). In service, this quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and oil and gas.
