Q-381 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-381 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.395 in (314.83 mm), catalogued under part number QV70381. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
