The QV70468 is an AS568-468 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 19.455 in (494.16 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.005 in (508.13 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
